How is Toy Story a Science Fiction / Fantasy movie?

I just saw that on RottenTomatoes, Toy Story is #1 in SciFi/Fantasy and it made me think a little and I thought it might be an interesting discussion. I mean, sure it has Buzz Lightyear, but what other characteristics of a SciFi/Fantasy movie make Toy Story fit well in this genre?
