Have the objects in deep space already vanished?

i was pondering to myself one time thinking about our universe and such, and i came across this idea. you know how some things are hundreds of millions of lightyears away, whould those object be gone or very close to it seeing as how its taken all that time for the light itself just to get to us... k thanks
